How to Add Antenna Location
NOTE: Before you proceed with adding an antenna location, you have to do the following:
- • Add Tagit Integration Standard plug-in (see How to Add Integration)
- • Make sure the Integration processor is enabled (see How to Enable Integration Processor).
- • Start the Tagit Integration Standard plug-in (see How to Start / Stop Integration Plug-in)
- • Start the provider (see How to Start / Stop Provider)
- • Start the device (see How to Start / Stop Device Observation)
Add antenna location
1. Open Devices page.
2. Open a device details page.
3. Click Select next to an antenna to which you want to assign a location.
- • Location picker window with a list of available locations opens.
- ● Click > next to a location name to see existing child location(s).
Existing location
If you want to use locations from tagVUE, you have to do the following to sync Trapeze with tagVUE locations:
- • Add Tagit Integration Standard plug-in (see How to Add Integration).
- • Make sure the Integration processor is enabled (see How to Enable Integration Processor).
- • Start the Tagit Integration Standard plug-in (see How to Start / Stop Integration plug-in).
- • Start the provider (see How to Start / Stop Provider).
- • Start the device (see How to Start / Stop Device Observation).
1. Click a location to select it.
2. Click the Select [location-name] button at the bottom right corner of the window.
- • Selected location is now displayed in the Location column of Antennas section.
Custom location
You also have the option to create custom locations.
1. Select the New location option in the Location picker window.
2. In the Name field type in a name of the location you are creating.
3. Auto generate Entity ID checkbox is selected by default.
- • If selected, the entity ID is auto generated.
- • If you want to create a custom Entity ID, deselect the checkbox.
- • In the Entity ID field type in an ID that you want the location to have.
4. Click the Select [location-name] button at the bottom right corner of the window.
- • Selected location is now displayed in the Location column of Antennas section.
