Accomplished goals
- Improved visibility on both forward and reverse logistics
- 97% productivity improvement in item inventory
- Utilizing item information directly from tag EPC
Applied technology
- Handheld UHF RFID readers for mobile inventory
- Tagit Operator suite of apps for encoding and validation of tags
- UHF RFID SGTIN-96 encoded tags with chip serialization
- tagVUE LX application compatible with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Android OS
How did we do it?
-
UHF RFID SGTIN-96 encoded tags
Utilizing UHF RFID tags encoded by GS1 SGTIN-96 standard, other processes can depict all the information about unit and its model from tag itself and therefore applications don not need to download information about all assets locally to perform operations
-
tagVUE LX for mobile inventory
Our tagVUE LX application is able to perform inventory on GS1 encoded tags depicting the information about units directly from tag. With complex offline mechanisms and custom synchronization plugins, it perfectly fitted the field operations requirements
-
Tagit Operator Encoding and Validation
Our Tagit Operator suite of applications was used for encoding and validating tags based on specific requirements from customer utilizing already existing power of our apps to work with different readers, tag chips and GS1 standards
-
Customized synchronization for each OEM partner
Architecture of our software contains plugins for different devices, sensors or even synchronization mechanisms. Because of that, we were able to quickly integrate and send data to different customized internal web services and API endpoints from client’s OEM partners
